Meaning of the Universe

Yesterday, my partner posed a profound question: "You keep talking about Universe. What does the Universe mean to you?" This inquiry deeply resonates with my journey of faith and understanding.

Growing up, I was a devout believer in God or religion, like many in our society. But as I questioned the world around me, my beliefs shifted. I became agnostic, then fully embraced atheism. Yet, my life felt empty without faith. Because certain amount of hope also comes from faith. And what is life without hope.

I often felt that for people who believe in God, they at least have God, whereas atheists like me have no one to rely on.

Then, I discovered the concept of the Universe. Thanks to the coaching journey that I have embarked upon. The concept of the Universe provided answers where religion fell short for me. It's important to note that coaching isn't about teaching you about the Universe.

Coaching is whatever you want it to be, supporting your personal growth journey.

I'm a logical and rational person, so believing in something rooted in religion was difficult for me. However, the concept of the Universe brought me peace. The difference lies in the fact that the Universe exists for me because I believe in it, and I'm consciously aware that my belief is granting power of existence to the Universe.

For me, the Universe is like an open canvas, which you can define in any way you choose. Whether you paint it with dreams, aspirations, or the beauty of everyday moments, the choice is yours. For some, their Universe may encompass their God(s). There's no right or wrong in defining the Universe; we're all correct. Isn't it such a beautiful concept in a world where everyone is trying to prove one another wrong?

Then my partner asked me again, "Can you describe how your Universe looks?"

So, I explained to her that my Universe is like a vast pool of still water, akin to a serene lake. Picture tossing a pebble into it; the ripples spread across the entire body of water, creating new ripples as they reach the shores.

Now, imagine it's not just one pebble but countless pebbles, generating numerous ripples that interact with one another. The influence of disorderliness extends far beyond our immediate experiences. From the destructive force of hurricanes to the gentle fluttering of a butterfly's wings, every phenomenon contributes to the intricate web of chaos and order in the Universe.

For me, each individual in this world is akin to that pebble, and all our thoughts, feelings, or actions resemble those ripples. Even the tiniest decisions, the micro-decisions we make from moment to moment, contribute to this complex network of interactions.

Naturally, my next move will be to hack the system and ascend to the top by deciphering this intricate web of interactions. However, I questioned whether it's feasible to study and resolve the complexities of the Universe. This reminds me of tackling a massive equation with countless variables where even the variables interact with each other. Something like Navier-Stokes equations, which used to describe fluid motion in space. It remains a significant challenge in physics even today, particularly when turbulence is introduced in the system.

I pondered why I couldn't approach this problem empirically, gathering evidence from experience or the senses. While subjectivity is inherent in this approach, it reflects my subjective experience and quest for understanding. Based on empirical observation, I've noticed that the Universe seeks to reduce entropy, the disorder of a system

Meaning, it seeks progress. Progress for everyone involved. Therefore, the Universe doesn't discriminate based on gender/sex, race, age, physical abilities, class, caste, sexuality, or nationality.

Then, how does it ensure progress for everyone in a resource-scarce world? Does it achieve this by suppressing the ripples? No, it endeavours to orchestrate these ripples to harmonize and follow a pattern.

One's growth need not negatively impact the growth of another. Journey of every individual is different. Everyone is growing at the right pace, whatever that pace is. But how does it do that? It might sound cliché to repeat this statement here, but I will go ahead and state it anyway. As Paulo Coelho stated,

"When you want something, all the Universe conspires in helping you to achieve it".

In our lives, to reach our full potential, we must resonate at our optimal frequency, where our output is greatest. Under-resonating, characterized by a lack of self-awareness, or over-resonating, characterized by blindly chasing the goal, will not lead you to a state of bliss. This is where coaching assists individuals in resonating at their optimal frequency. It helped me. It can help you as well.

Many factors may hinder us from attaining this frequency. Essentially, the Universe is committed to offering us the growth we merit, provided we are attentive to the clues it presents to us.

The Universe offers subtle hints to realign us, starting with small clues. If we overlook these, larger clues follow—manifesting as feelings of discontentment or unfulfillment in various aspects of life. Therefore, my humble invitation to all of you is to remain mindful of these cosmic clues.

Self-awareness is key; by looking within and reflecting, we can decipher the universe's messages. Remember, every experience serves as a gentle nudge toward growth and self-realization.
